How To Care For Your Curls In Three Minutes

Time is short for most of us. We have so much on our plates and so much to do that it can be difficult to get everything done. Therefore, we don’t want to spend tons of time on our hair. Fortunately, you don’t have to! Taking care of your curls can be easier than you think. This is how to care for your curls in three minutes. Give this routine a try and if it works for you, enjoy your extra free time in the morning!

How To Keep Curls Fresh All Week

Step One:

Once you get out of the shower, either from washing or refreshing your curls, squeeze out excess water. Flip your head upside down, and spray leave in conditioner throughout your curls. Make sure to completely cover your curls, but to saturate with product.

Step Two:

Flip your head over, so you’re upright. Using your fingers or a wide toothed comb, work the product through your strands. Make sure all your strands get covered with product. This is a good time to form your part.

Step Three:

Flip your curls over,  and apply whatever product you use to help hold your curls. Mousse works well, or you might use your curl holding gel instead. Use your fingers to work the product through your hair. You might also want to consider using a shine serum to help smooth down any flyaways. Scrunch your curls upwards in your hands to help form your curls.

Step Four:

Once your curls are formed, you can plop your curls into an old t-shirt or microfiber towel. Wrap your curls and leave the towel on until it’s time to leave. This will allow your curls to slowly dry while keeping them in shape so they don’t become frizzy. The drier your curls become while wrapped in the towel, the better.

Step Five:

As you’re about to leave, remove the towel and gently shake out your curls. Take a moment to arrange your curls, and spritz with a hair spray if needed.
