Battling fall wind and it’s disastrous effect on your curls? We’ve got a solution that’s oh so chic and easy! Check out this curly hair style pulled straight from the runways at NYC’s Fall Fashion Week. Stylist Orlando Pita will give you the step by step instructions on creating a trendy, boho half up, half down style.

To achieve this style “first divide hair into three sections: a smaller one at the bottom and two larger chunks on top, parted down the center. Place the lower part into a pony tail to keep it out of the way. Then, loosely roll each top piece inward, draping it over the tops of ear, and fasten each into small ponytails at the back. Next, crisscross the remaining lengths and pin into a chignon to create a “barrette” effect.” This would be the perfect opportunity to add some bling with sparkly clips or flowers for a customized look.

To complete your new romantic style, Pita recommends using a sea salt spray to create some texture in the lower part of your hair. Curly haired girls; your work here is done! Let you curls shine and what they’re best at. The last step? Embrace your new (and easy) curly hair style and strut your stuff.
