Are you feeling as though your summer hair styles are getting a little boring? Are you over it with the same ponytails and braids day in and day out? If so, it’s time to think about updating your look. Here are more summer styles to try immediately. Give these easy to accomplish looks a try, and update your look for the summer.

High pony:

If you want a look that can be ultra chic for the office, but also provide relief from the sweltering summer sun, you’re going to want to put your strands into a high pony. Not only does this help keep your hair up and off your neck, you can dress it up or down for different occasions.

Beach waves:

Even if you have curly hair, you can still enjoy a beachy wave, and you don’t have to go to the beach to get it. Start with damp curls, and spritz a sea salt spray throughout your strands. Then, divide your curls into 4-6 even sections, and loosely braid or twist your strands, then secure the ends loosely. Allow them to dry overnight or use a hair dryer to help speed up the process. Once your curls are dry, release them from the braids, and then use your hands to disrupt the curls so they form soft waves.

Half up bun with braids:

If you’re ready to channel your inner Viking, you’re going to want to try this look. Start with messy second or third day curls, and use a leave in conditioner to help scrunch your curls. Then, gather half your curls and secure them on top of your head in a loose bun. You can add bobby pins as needed to secure the strands. Then, take smaller sections throughout the back and create thin, loose braids. You can tie them off with clear rubber bands, or leave them loose for a more unstructured look.
