How To Get Rockin’ Curls
Step one:
Firstly, to get started on your rockstar style, you’ll need to completely wet your strands from the midshaft to the ends. Coat your curls with your favorite curl definining cream. For this look, we recommend Bed Head Screw It Curl Hydrating Jelly Oil. Follow with a mousse to layer on, such as Bed Head Foxy Curls Extreme Curl Mousse. This will give volume and hold, without creating excessive crunch. The oil will lock in the moisture strands need to be well defined without frizz. Allow your curls to air dry, or use a diffuser to speed up the process.
Step two:
Once curls are dry, spray your strands with a finishing spray. For glam rockstar curls, we love Bed Head Get Twisted. Pick up some random curls, and beginning twisting. Turn some towards and some away from your face. Therefore, this will create interesting layers and dimension with your strands.
Step three:
After all the curls are twisted, it’s time to begin styling. Grab all your curls from the top of your ear and pull up. Slide bobby pins in from the back to secure your strands in place. Likewise, repeat on the other side of your head. Don’t be stingy with the bobby pins. You can also glam up this look with sparkly pins or barrettes. As a result, you’ll have created a fun fauxhawk when this look is completed.
Step four:
Spritz your strands with hairspray to help hold your curls in place. Pull out separate curls as needed, and adjust your style! Now, go rock out!
