Make your own leave-in conditioner

With many of the world locked down again in the face of the COVID-19 virus, it’s important to have things to do to keep your mind occupied. Since it’s not always easy to get to the store to get products you need, you might want to make your own products instead. Here’s how you can make your own leave-in conditioner right from home, and keep your curls looking fabulous.

Make your own leave-in conditioner

What you’ll need:

2 cups distilled or filtered water

2 tablespoons of glycerin (if you don’t have this on hand, swap it out for your favorite conditioner)

1 tablespoon fractionated coconut oil

1 tablespoon of rosewater

10 drops essential oils of your choice. Lavender, chamomile, peppermint, or tea tree are all great

This product couldn’t be any easier to make. Take all of the ingredients, and combine them together in a bowl. Mix until completely blended, and then pour into a spray bottle using a funnel so you don’t spill. It’s ok to use a bottle you might have used for other product; just make sure to clean it out really well first. Once the product’s inside the bottle, put the lid on and shake it well to make sure the ingredients are blended together.

Spray throughout your curls after showering, or throughout the day whenever you notice your curls are in need of a quick pick-me-up.
