Overnight is one of the best times to give your curls the extra pampering and care the they might need. While your body is resting, your curls can be getting the extra TLC you don't always have time to give them during the day.
If you've noticed your curls might be thinning, you could consider an overnight castor oil and rosemary oil mask. Both rosemary and castor oils can be extremely beneficial for helping curly hair grow healthier and stronger. To make this mask, add a cup of castor oil and a few drops of rosemary oil into a glass jar and shake until fully incorporated. Once the ingredients are completely mixed, apply to your curls until they're completely covered, and then cover with a plastic hair cap. Allow to sit overnight and then shampoo out in the morning.
If your curls are dry and in need of a shine boost, consider an argan oil and coconut milk mask. Coconut milk is loaded with vitamins and minerals that help maintain curl's natural health. Take a small spray bottle and add in one cup of coconut milk. Add in one tablespoon of organ oils nd shake until completely mixed. Apply the mixture to your scalp and throughout your curls. Cover with a plastic cap and allow to sit overnight.
When you're hoping for curls that are long and strong, you can use a coconut oil and lavender essential oil mask. The coconut oil and essential oil will deeply moisturize curls, which will keep them from breaking easily. Mix 3 tablespoons of melted coconut oil with 10-15 drops of lavender oil. Depending on how thick or long your curls are, you can add more ingredients to make more of the mask. Mix together and apply to damp curls. Apply throughout curls, and cover with a plastic cap to protect your pillow while you sleep. Shampoo out in the morning and enjoy soft, healthy curls!
