Avocado:

Enjoy the richness of a fresh green avocado in your curls to add moisture and natural, healthy fats to try strands. Take one whole pitted avocado and scoop the insides into a bowl. Mash until smooth, and then add in 2 tablespoons of jojoba oil, as well as one fresh, ripe banana. Mash and blend until all the ingredients are smooth. Apply to freshly washed curls, focusing on the dry strands. Cover and allow to sit for 60 minutes before rinsing out.

Egg:

These protein powerhouses are great for more than just your post workout scramble. Eggs can help infuse curls with softness and shine. Take two large eggs and crack into a bowl. Whisk until completely blended, and then add in 2 tablespoons of raw, organic honey. Continue mixing. Once smooth, add in 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise. Slather the mask into your damp curls from roots to ends, making sure to cover all strands. Cover curls with a plastic shower cap and allow to sit. However, don’t use heat with this mask as you could cause the raw eggs to cook onto your curls.

Strawberry:

Is there anything sweeter than a nice, ripe, red strawberry? Scoop 1/2 cup of plain, organic yogurt into a bowl. Wash and slice 6 ripe strawberries, and then mash it into the yogurt. Blend until smooth. Add in 1 tablespoon of fresh baking soda. Apply throughout your curls. The yogurt and strawberries will give a boost of moisture and shine, while the baking soda will absorb any extra oil to help refresh clogged scalps.
