When you make your own product, you're in control of what you're putting on your curls, and you can customize it for your curls. Here's a great DIY conditioner for long curly hair. DIY conditioner for long curly hair

Curls that get dry tend to be especially prone to tangles. However, this isn't something you need to take laying down. To get started on this easy to follow deep conditioner, start with the following ingredients:

1 ripe avocado, sliced

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/2 cup shea butter

3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

What to do:

Take all of the ingredients and place together in a blender. Blend until completely smooth. You can add more oil if needed to make the mixture smoother or create more as necessary. Then, apply to freshly washed curls. Allow the product to sit for 45-60 minutes under a shower cap. You can also apply heat if your curls are particularly damaged. Using a wide toothed comb, slowly and carefully detangle.

After you've gotten rid of all your snarls and tangles, rinse with cool water. Style your curls as normal. There you have it! Not only is this deep conditioning treatment super easy to make, it's also awesome for your hair. If you have finer strands, you can swap the olive oil for a lighter oil, or add essential oils to customize your strands.
