Deep conditioners to make at home

Shine and curl definition:

To help restore shine and definition to dry, frizzled curls, give this recipe a try. Take 2 cups of filtered water, 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, 1 tablespoon of Vitamin E oil, 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, and 1 tablespoon of Greek yogurt. Combine all of these ingredients together, and then apply to freshly washed curls. It’s going to be a looser conditioner, so make sure you’re still in the shower when applying. After curls are completely covered, wrap your hair in a towel and allow the conditioner to sit for an hour. Then, rinse with cool water.

Strength and moisture:

One of the best ways to help revitalize curls is to add in a fresh infusion of protein, as well as healthy fats. Greek yogurt has both, and if you don’t have that in your fridge, regular yogurt will do fine as well. Take two tablespoons of Greek yogurt, and combine it with 1 tablespoon organic honey, 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix until smooth, and massage into your scalp. If your scalp is clogged with buildup or dandruff, the lemon juice will help refresh and invigorate your scalp. Your curls will grow in stronger, and the strands will be better moisturized by the honey, olive oil, and yogurt. Allow to sit, and then rinse with cool water.

Shine and moisture:

Dull curls can be really aggravating, but fortunately you don’t have to live with them. Take one cup of water, 3 tablespoons of cornstarch, 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil, 1 tablespoon of aloe vera juice, and 1/4 cup of coconut milk. Combine the ingredients until they’re completely mixed and smooth. Then, massage the mixture into your scalp after you’ve washed your curls. After giving it some time to sit, you can rinse it out.
