Wash curls with a gentle shampoo, and remove excess water. Apply the avocado mixture throughout your curls, massaging it into the scalp, and pulling through to the ends. Cover and allow the mixture to sit for at least 30 minutes for full benefits. For extra damaged curls, place under a plastic shower cap and allow to sit overnight.

Aloe vera:

Aloe vera has many wonderful uses beyond being a sunburn balm. To get this ultra hydrating mask, take freshly squeezed aloe vera gel or juice, about 1/2 cup or more if you have long or thick curls. Mix it together with 1 tablespoon raw, organic honey, and then add in 2 tablespoons castor oil. The castor oil will help invigorate your strands by stimulating blood flow to the scalp.
